Stars In Our Eyes Cause We're Having A Good Time

This weekend I got a much needed break, things calmed down a bit and I took the opportunity to blow off some steam.  I woke up to a text message from one of my loves announcing “WE GOT THE TICKETS”; those would be tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers in February.  Not a bad way to wake up and I can’t wait to cross this one off of my “concert bucket list”.  Later that day I treated myself to a haircut and a scalp massage then I fought my way through the Holiday crowds to buy some Winter Wardrobe Staples (read: green pants and funky blazers).  That night I got dolled up to go celebrate a dear friends birthday.  It was a completely needed and fitting evening; snacking on Vodka infused candies and having an impromptu cell phone photo shoot.  We ended the evening chasing a rabbit around the house at 4:00 am (no that’s not a metaphor).  Needless to say I’m rejuvenated…now back to work!
