The Longest Bridge I've Ever Crossed Over Pontchartrain

I have been feeling slightly under the weather; which explains why I did not accompany my loves to New Orleans to watch the University of Louisiana at Lafayette compete in the New Orleans Bowl.  For the first time in 41 years the Ragin Cajuns won 32 – 30 over San Diego State.  Louisiana pride really is something magic; you can feel it in the air like static electricity.  Today I am going to nurse myself back to tip-top-shape with cups of Green Tea and dreams of the Crescent City.  Strange things happen below Sea Level.
